The information is updated every thirty minutes and ten items are shown on the main page.  So you can rest assured that the news available is very recent and will only be out of date by a few minutes.  Some sources post multiple news items per day others are a little less active, the more active they are the higher on the page they will be except for our own site news, it will always be the top left so that information about the site and/or changes will be handily available.  There are also pages and links available on the top of the page to information and resources around the web that you may find helpful.  You can also click on the "more" link at the bottom of each feed to view even more stories that are available.

My name is John and I own a small web hosting company. . . I appreciate the rights we have in the United States and wanted a place where I could quickly find news information that interested me without delving through huge pages of old news or being bombarded by news that didn't interest me.  I don't keep up with the Kardashians, could care less about Miley's new hairdo and it seems that a lot of other places on the web just throw that type of news into the limelight so I started to set this one up for my use and I am sharing it with the public at large.

The site uses Drupal and a module called aggregate to get the news.  I have a CRON setup to have the site update every thirty minutes and retrieve the news.  The theme is Bluemasters.

If you enjoy the site and want to buy me a drink or maybe a new keyboard there are two ways that you can do so.

You can donate via PayPal--please remember they eat their $0.30 plus 2.9% right off the top so a donation of 1.00 ends up being closer to 67 cents.
