...One nicely equipped M1A DMR-ish rifle on whisper mode (VIDEO)
Chad with IV8888 shows off his M1A Loaded rifle, set up as a life and liberty DMR with some sweet Leupold glass and AAC suppressor.
Its not a review of the Springfield Armory M1A Loaded, as Chad’s gun has a host of aftermarket add-ons (Unitized gas system, Schuster adjustable gas plug, Sadlak NM spring guide, ARMS scope mount, duracoated stock, cheek riser, et. al), but you get a good idea of what you can do to up your M1A game to an approximation of a military designated marksman rifle.
And for reference, the optics are Leupold’s Mark 4 ER/T 4.5-14x50mm FFP M5 and the en-quieter is a AAC SDN-6.

The flag was taken to be inventoried for possible charges against the protester.

...Seven-point plan to reduce gun crime
Seven is a number that has felt right to humanity for a lot of things. We have the seven days of the week, the seven deadly sins, the seven liberal arts, and the seven rounds that the New York legislature figured were enough. Now Martin O’Malley, former governor of Maryland and candidate in the Democratic primaries of 2016 has come up with a seven-point plan to reduce gun violence. His proposals were listed in a tweet he sent out on Thursday. He says these would be a start toward cutting deaths by gunfire in half over the next ten years. How these not-so-magnificent seven would accomplish that isn’t so clear when we consider the details, which he gives on his campaign website:
