As today was about to end on the SHOT Show floor, I was perusing the “New in 2015″ section when I came across the G.P.S. Wild About Shooting Rapid Deployment Packs (RDP), and I was very glad I found them. I had not seen these bags before, but I was immediately impressed with the design, material, and carrying capacity of each pack.

At the AMTEC booth the floor representatives were eager to show off the AMTEC single shot 37/40mm launchers. These launchers feature a breech break open action, ghost ring rear sight, manual safety, and a very smooth double action trigger. They are also available in black, OD green, or tan.

Well if you’ve been diligently coming back to BlueSheepDog this week, looking for the latest and greatest offerings from the SHOT Show, you might have been wondering, “what the heck”. The BlueSheepDog crew extends our most sincere apologies that the news feed went down yesterday, but apparently the overwhelming response to both BlueSheepDog and our sister site GunsHolstersandGear.com, pushed our server beyond its capable means. Yep, we crashed!

Ruger has introduced a new handgun into their family, the Ruger 22/45 Lite Blue.  The BlueSheepDog crew will be seeking out this new handgun at SHOT Show to get some more pictures and hopefully get to shoot one at the Media Day at the Range.  Based upon the very popular Model 22/45, the new Lite Blue is  immediately distinguishable from its cousins.

The United States Second Circuit Court of Appeals decided the case of United States v. Andino on September 16, 2014.  The case centered around the warrantless entry by law enforcement into a home based upon the belief by officers that exigent circumstances existed – the destruction of evidence.  The  subsequent seizure of evidence in plain view once inside the residence was challenged by the defense.
