Zero Tolerance Chronicles: Biden’s ATF-Driven War On Guns Continues Apace
Don’t believe for a minute that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms’ (ATF) ‘zero-tolerance’ policy isn’t real or is some “right-wing conspiracy.” The first nine months of statistics are in and the Biden administration is doing exactly what it said it would. President Joe Biden and his White House advisors are using the ATF as a blunt instrument to hobble the firearm industry.
So far in 2023, ATF has conducted 6,609 inspections of Federal Firearms Licensees – starting on Oct.

How to Stay Safe When You’re Out on the Trail — Carry A Gun

The woods are, for the most part, pretty darn safe. You can spend every weekend hiking through areas “infested” with dangerous wildlife, and see nothing more than a snowshoe hare or a mule deer. But Lady Luck is a fickle wench and there’s always at least a small chance that you’ll run into something — or someone — that wants to take a peek inside you.
This is the time a lot of people are getting out There are as many strategies for deep woods self-protection as there are pic-a-nic baskets in Jellystone Park, so the first order of the day is to know your adversary.
The Future of Pistol Silencers
Conventional wisdom dictates that semi-automatic pistols without fixed barrels (i.e. ones with some flavor of short recoil operated system) require a Nielsen device or “booster” to function with a silencer attached to the barrel. Without a booster the mass — the inertia — of the silencer hinders the barrel’s rearward movement under recoil and the pistol doesn’t reliably cycle.
Well, conventional wisdom sucks and the future of pistol suppressors is boosterless.
Make a silencer light enough — under approximately five ounces — and it’ll run without a Nielsen device.

BREAKING: Florida Streets Not Ankle-Deep in Blood After Permitless Carry Becomes Law

There have been no Wild West-style shootouts. Floridians are not shooting each other over parking spots as some tediously predicted. No fistfights have escalated into gunfights, and most assuredly, the streets are not running red with blood.
On July 1, Florida became the 26th state – the majority state – to offer residents and visitors some form of permitless concealed carry. Since then, none of the gun-banners’ bloody, end-of-the-world predictions have come true – not one.

Philadelphia Shooting Perp Says He Opened Fire to Help the City Do Something About ‘Gun Violence’
On Monday, Kimbrady Carriker, a self-described computer engineer, opened fire across several Philadelphia residential blocks, killing five people and wounding four more. Carriker apparently prepared for a hell of a shootout with police before going on his murder spree. . .
Police said the 40-year-old male suspect was armed with a rifle, pistol, extra magazines, a police scanner and bulletproof vest when he fatally shot four men on the street and then chased and killed a fifth man inside a home.

After Earlier Injunctions, the NRA Sues the ATF Over Pistol Brace Ban
If, like us, you were mostly unplugged over the extended four-day holiday, you might have missed the news that the National Rifle Association has filed its own lawsuit against the ATF challenging the regulatory agency’s pistol brace ban rule. This follows three other gun rights orgs’ similar suits and the injunctions that have been issued blocking ATF enforcement against their members.
Given the fact that tens of millions of pistol braces have been sold over the years, those injunctions no doubt resulted in a lot of new members for the Second Amendment Foundation, Gun Owners of America and the Firearms Policy Coalition.

Veteran Jason Rogers recorded a video of himself smashing a gun on the ground with a sledge hammer in protest of gun ownership in the state of Texas.
“I’m an Army veteran,” Rogers captioned the video.
Central Illinois NRA Youth Shooting Camp Returns After a COVID Hiatus
“This is fun!” That’s how one of GSL Defense Training’s new instructors described her first time volunteering at one of the nation’s longest-running NRA Youth Shooting Camps in Bloomington this past weekend.
Before COVID came along, the Darnall’s Youth Camp was a huge undertaking with typically 130 to 150 young people ages 8-16 participating. There were also another hundred-plus adults volunteering to handle the logistics behind the scenes and still more instructors and coaches to ensure all the kids were safe while they learned new skills and had a great time.

Concealed Carry Holsters to Live By

In most concealed carry courses holster selection feels like an afterthought. That’s understandable considering the amount of critical information that must be imparted in a short amount of time, but choosing the right holster is an essential detail that must not be overlooked.
If you can’t carry your gun comfortably and conceal it where required, there’s a good chance you won’t carry a firearm at all. That defeats the purpose of obtaining a concealed carry permit in the first place.

When Supreme Court Justices Get Their ‘Facts’ From CNN
“Or the Pulse nightclub massacre, the second-deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history?” [Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor] wrote when listing examples of America’s “social system of discrimination” that “created an environment in which LGBT people were unsafe.”
However, it was well established in the following investigation, and the trial of the shooter’s widow, that he was unaware that the nightclub was a gay club and seemed to pick the target at random after his first plan to attack Disney fell through.

Man Bites Dog: New Jersey Gun Dealer Defeats the ATF, Keeps His FFL and His Business

Ira Levin could not be happier. He can continue to operate his gun shop, Legend Firearms, which is located in Monroe, New Jersey. Levin has owned and operated the small gun shop since 2009, which is no small feat given the Garden State’s blatant antipathy toward guns and gun dealers.
Levin has sold more than 21,000 firearms and has been inspected dozens of times by both New Jersey State Police and ATF.
