Earlier today a Jackson, Miss man was leaving his home to compete in a shooting competition held at Magnolia Pistol Range in Byram. As he was loading his vehicle two black men approached him and forced him to drive to an ATM to withdraw cash.
After taking a large sum of cash the men forced the victim out of the vehicle indicating they were planning to return to his home because his wife was there. Before leaving the vehicle the competition shooter grabbed a handgun and began firing into his truck.
According to Jackson Jambalaya, One person at the scene said “he shot the shit out of him”. One robber is dead but the other escaped and is still at-large.
