How long will it be before there is bloodshed over this law?  We’re not sure, but we’re confident it is coming unless the law is rescinded or struck down by the courts.

Oh well, it’s not like CSGV doesn’t already have the reputation for making up falsehoods out of nothingness.

Dom Raso explains why keeping law-abiding gun owners out of private businesses is a mistake.

Can you imagine something so kooky as posting your home that you’re wishing to sell as a “gun free zone” where prospective real estate agents wishing to show your house, along with prospective buyers would be forbidden from carrying inside?

From the Chicago Tribune:

Late last week, … the Illinois Association of Realtors unveiled a consent form that could take the conversation between real estate agents and home sellers into uncharted territory.

The form, if realty firms and agents choose to use it, allows homeowners to specify whether they would allow a potential buyer with a concealed firearm inside their property.

If the seller says “no,” an agent would display the state-authorized sign, a drawing of a black gun with a red circle and line through it, outside the home during all showings

Connecticut Carry, a pro-civil rights organization in Connecticut dedicated to expanding that state’s carry laws and increasing the numbers of people with carry permits, has published a press release challenging the State of Connecticut to enforce their tyrannical gun registration law that made felons of potentially a hundred thousand or more gun owners in that state or to repeal the law.

It’s time for the State to enforce the tyranny they passed or repeal it entirely.

When you see Facebook, think “My Space” and we’ll tell you why:  Teens are increasingly disinterested in Facebook as it’s no longer seen as the “hip” place to be.  As Facebook struggles to stay afloat with increasing ad revenue, subjecting users to pesky ads at a growing rate, they risk alienating people posting pictures of their pets or babies or passing around mindless memes.

Then there are problems with the “Click Farms” that provide thousands of “likes” for a few hundred bucks.  The only problem is these people only serve to dilute any message you wish to get out to the world on your Facebook social media.  Read up on this trainwreck here and here.

Imagine that…  a person with less than noble intentions in his heart ignored the “NO GUNS” prohibition sign and shot himself.

Thank heavens he didn’t try to carjack a couple and kill a productive citizen in that “no guns” zone – as happened in New Jersey a short while back.

The only thing that stops bad men with evil in their heart is a good guy with a gun.

(BBC) – An attack by knife-wielding men at a railway station in Kunming in south-west China has left at least 29 dead, the state news agency Xinhua says.

Ya know, when you raffle a gun for a charitable cause, the gun haters quickly self-identify for your convenience.

It always happens.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution wrote about a girls’ softball team raffling a Taurus Judge to raise money.

You would think the end of the world is near.  A person who didn’t even have the courage to identify themselves started the mainstream media knee-jerk reaction.

Bad guys with guns aren’t stopped by laws.

They’re stopped by good guys with guns.

He posted the home addresses and in some cases, phone numbers, of Connecticut legislators voting to mandate gun owners register America’s favorite rifle and lots of others with similar features.

And the magazines to go with those guns.

We believe this Connecticut gun registration scheme isn’t going to go well and that blood will be spilled…  on both sides.

And there are plenty of Connecticut State Police willing to violate their oath to enforce this unconstitutional mandate.

Thousands of licenses went out in the mail Friday and Saturday, as we had noted last week.

It even made national news, as Hot Air and plenty of other sites covered the story.

Yes, almost fifteen months after the federal appeals court mandated Illinois adopt right-to-carry – “or else”, we finally have licenses in hand.

Yes, we are cutting edge here at Guns Save Life in reporting on how Illinois re-invented the wheel when it comes to carry licenses, pretty much ignoring the 49 other states that had carry initially.

Some of our critics are particularly eager and fond to point out when our reports of preliminary information turn out wrong, but then again, those same critics are about as cutting edge as the magazines you so typically find in doctor and dentist office waiting rooms.

I really enjoy Liam Neeson.

“Taken” was one movie of his that’s among a handful that I keep around to watch from time to time – movies like Full Metal Jacket, Apocalypse Now and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

I guarantee you “Non-Stop” won’t be among that select few.

In Non-Stop, Air Marshal Liam Neeson is fighting about someone sending him text messages and killing people on an airliner.

It’s the guy who wants to go to Amsterdam that you see at the beginning of the movie.  The guy who says he’s a teacher with glasses.

Did I spoil the movie for you?

Good and I’ll tell you why:  This movie is pure Hollywood trash.

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (WCNC) — A Kannapolis teen is recovering after his second home invasion in two weeks – but this time he managed to shoot one of his attackers during the assault.

“I pulled out a gun and shot one of them,” said Chris Ludwick, 19.

Ludwick said he shot at the men four times with a .22-caliber pistol that his father gave him after the first home invasion on February 7.  He was prepared when the men broke down the back door just before 4:30 a.m. Sunday.

“I was sleeping and was woken up to a disturbing outrage,” said Ludwick, “and they came inside my house and started trying to beat me up.”

Ludwick has cuts on his face and four staples in the back of his head from where one of the men grabbed the gun and pistol whipped him after the shooting.

This one from Natalie Foster is very good.

One line early on that caught my ear:  “I can name five mass murderers off the top of my head but I couldn’t name five of their victims if I tried.”

“The media becomes complicit in the next tragedy,” she said.

She asks why the surviving Boston terrorist bomber rated a cover photo on Rolling Stone magazine.

She notes that we are rewarding these killers with the immortality that they are seeking.

That’s why, here at Guns Save Life, we will not publish the names of spree killers.  We’re reluctant to publish their likeness unless it’s to ridicule them.
