Grandma means business. Grandma with a shotgun means double business.

A pair of armed robbers learned quickly that this establishment was not one to be messed with. Not only did grandma come out and point her shotgun, her husband drew his pistol and shot the man, sending him to the ground in a hurry.

The risks were great with this incident, however, because the armed bad guy was pointing his shotgun directly at those people inside, and could have easily ended one or more of their lives.

I’m not sure what alerted this man to someone outside, but he acted quickly when a hand started coming through the mail slot in an attempt to open the door.

When you watch the video below, it’s tough not to flinch as soon as you realize how that must have felt to the guy on the other side of the door!

I’m not sure if this is an apartment complex or business, or something else entirely, but just make sure that you know what’s going on before taking action like this.

FORT MYERS, FLORIDA — A 50-year-old man was arrested after police say he fired his gun into a crowd of people. He wasn’t able to get off many shots, however, because someone in the crowd was armed themselves and fired back.

Taking fire himself, the suspect threw his gun into a parking lot and attempted to flee, none of which worked in his favor.

Was it an attempted mass shooting? Who knows.

A group of people were on a sidewalk when a vehicle drove up and three gunman got out, opening fire on the group. It happened outside a nonprofit called Target Area DevCorp, which is a non-violence group in Chicago.

The woman, 27, was struck in the hip and a 40-year-old man was shot in the face. He remains in critical condition. A 32-year-old man was struck in the lower back and a 50-year-old man was hit on the side.

ROSMAN, NORTH CAROLINA — A man was shot early Thursday morning by his father, according to the Transylvania County Sheriff’s Office.  The incident happened about 7:25 a.m. on Stamey Creek Road, near the college town of Brevard.

Transylvania County received a 911 call from a person who witnessed portions of the incident, which occurred inside a home. Responding deputies arriving on the scene located a man with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Good news! HB 259, Florida’s Church Carry bill, has been signed into law by Governor Ron DeSantis (R).

With HB 259 now signed into law, religious institutions are no longer automatically listed as gun-free zones by the state if they choose to offer daycare services, run a parochial school, or rent/lease space from a school to hold services. 

Religious institutions are now free to make that choice on their own if they wish to be gun-free zones.

A woman went to a police station to report ongoing domestic violence, and asked for help with gathering her belongings at the home she shared with the suspect. Police went to the home with her so that she could do just that, and as they were there, the suspect came home with two guns in his hands.

McCoy says in the early morning hours a large group of people was gathered in the area. An altercation broke out between two groups of people in separate vehicles. That is when shots were fired. When officers arrived they found three adult male and two adult female victims.

When they arrived at the home, two unidentified suspects jumped into the back seat of Shepard’s car, and shot Shepard.
