HOUSTON, TEXAS — A mother has been charged with deadly conduct with a firearm after she shot her 5-year-old child during her attempt to target a dog that was loose. Part of the incident was captured on surveillance video and shows the dog come out of the front door of a home and run towards where the woman and her child were.

Shots were fired almost immediately, as you can hear in the video below.

MIAMI, FLORIDA — An armed woman won the fight against a man who police say came up to her vehicle and began to attack her. Police were called to 163 Street Mall near North Miami Beach with reports of a shooting.

The investigation revealed that a woman was inside her vehicle when a man came up to her and started banging on her window, and ultimately attacking her.

As a result, she fired her gun and shot the man, ending the attack.

HARTLY, DELAWARE — A stabbing victim shot the man who attacked he and four other men early Wednesday morning. Delaware State Police say that troopers were dispatched to 911 call reporting multiple stabbing victims and a shooting victim. The call came in around 4:29 a.m.  for an address in the 700 block of Proctors Purchase Road. Responding troopers secured the scene and escorted Emergency Medical Services into the home, where they found numerous people with injuries.

REIDSVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA – Two motorcyclists were fatally shot, and another was wounded in a Monday afternoon shooting in Rockingham County. Officials say deputies found three gunshot victims located along the U.S. 29 bypass Northbound corridor from Barnes Street to N.C. 14 in Reidsville.

The area was closed off and traffic was rerouted as authorities investigated the scene. According to investigators, the gunshots were fired from an occupant of a Dodge Dually pickup.

MINERAL WELLS, TEXAS – A homeowner fatally shot a man identified as his brother during a break-in and altercation at his home. Mineral Wells PD received a report of a residential burglary in progress around 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

According to the MWPD report, the caller stated that he had returned home from work and discovered that an intruder had entered his home. He reported a physical confrontation and said that he had the suspect “on the ground”.

PHOENIX, ARIZONA — One man was killed and se on others injured during a shooting that occurred at a hotel, and police believe it began over an argument.

Police said a group of people between the ages of 18 and 22 who all were attending a function inside the hotel had an argument that escalated into shots being fired.

ST. CLOUD, MINNESOTA — A hostage situation is unfolding at a Wells Fargo location in St. Cloud this evening, apparently stemming from a robbery. Police were called around 1:48 pm local time of an apparent robbery at the bank.

Police say that an undisclosed number of bank employees are being held hostage.

Police and SWAT are on the scene, and negotiations are said to be taking place.

No injuries have been reported.
