Go Low-Vis

Wed, 11/18/2015 - 17:26

The secret to concealed carry is that the weapon has to remain concealed, and the obvious choices for carrying a pistol hidden on your person is to go with a holster inside the pants waistband or to fit one on your best and wear it outside the pants. Either way, the holster and gun need to be hidden from public view both for legal reasons and for the main reason of keeping the handgun concealed until it is needed.

Record-High Gun Sales Prove Americans Want Liberty

Tue, 11/17/2015 - 10:24

Anti-freedom politicos such as current White House residents and (ick) Hillary Clinton are well-known for hating our gun rights here in the USA. They continue to try and try again to further restrict that which “shall not be infringed,” but which has been steadily infringed for generations.

Aspiring Hunter says “Hunting Needs A Welcome Mat”

Tue, 11/17/2015 - 10:02

I have been a hunter for the vast majority of my life. I began learning the ropes at age 9, when I began following my father through the woods. Since then, I have never missed a hunting season – especially after I began deer hunting at age 13.

Is the Term Tactical Over Used?

Fri, 11/13/2015 - 11:02

Have you ever sat long enough watching television to see the same ad shown over and over during the program? That simply wears me out and does everything to turn me off about whatever product is being advertised. I don’t need to see the same drug ad, car insurance story, or movie promotion twenty times over the course of a 2-hour movie.

The RV Bug Out Option

Fri, 11/13/2015 - 10:59

What better way to bug out than in a recreational vehicle? This option is basically a fully functional home on wheels ready to be moved at any time and parked for extended periods of time for a self-sustainability strategy.

Practical Carry Cases for AR Rifles

Fri, 11/13/2015 - 10:56

A well decked out expensive AR rifle set up demands a good carry case. ARs are not fragile but they need protection from every day carry outside the house. Environmental elements including precipitation like rain, sleet, or snow as well as, windblown dust, dirt, mud, and just plain ole grime will attach itself to an exposed rifle. It just makes sense to have a good case.

Why “Moderate” Pro-Gun Groups like ACRGO Always Fail

How Bulletproof are Pumpkins? (Video)

Wed, 11/11/2015 - 14:47

Well, Thanksgiving is right around the corner and everyone except me likes to eat pumpkin pie on Turkey Day… and at AllOutdoor, we really like guns. So why not combine the two?

In this video, “Tom Bulletsafe” provides us with the obligatory plug for his product – which is what pays for his videos, after all – and then sets about seeing how many pumpkins it takes to stop the same bullet.

The firearm? Oh, just a 50-cal Desert Eagle.

Will a 22 Bullet Fully Penetrate a Truck Windshield? (Video)

Wed, 11/11/2015 - 13:31

This question seems like a no-brainer, but then again, there are many people in the world who fit that same description. Doh!

Anyhow, this is a short-and-sweet video that shows the results of a truck windshield being shot with a 22 long rifle bullet.

Some folks probably expect the soft 22-caliber bullet to skip off of the glass or otherwise be deflected. The windshield they shoot in this vid is at a pretty steep angle, so….
