First wade fishing keeper

Brittany Herrera with her first keeper trout caught while wade fishing. It weighed in at 4lbs and was 24″ long. She was free lining Croaker using a chatter weight just east of bird island in the Upper Laguna Madre.

Tile Fish/Black Fin Tuna

Larry Livanec, Chad Charbula, Taylor Holland and Blaine Bullard caught these nice Tile Fish and Black Fin Tuna. Biggest Tile Fish was 30.6 pounds. Thanks to Captain Mark Holland and Kelly Holland with Matagorda Sport Fishing for another great trip.

2015-16 lunker numbers continue to increase on Toledo Bend

The number of lunker bass (fish over 10 lbs.) caught on Toledo Bend continues to break records and is getting the lake a lot of attention. As of August 25, 2015 the Toledo Bend Lake Association’s Lunker Bass Program had 26 lunkers recorded for the 2015-16 year. This number surpasses the 2014-15 count which was 9 at this time last year. It is a great time to get hooked on Toledo Bend.

Newest Lunker #26: Dean St.Cyr of Washington, LA caught this 10.04 lb fish on August 22, 2015 and weighed it in at Toledo Town and Tackle.

Rare Albino Two Headed Milk Snake Eating Mouse (VIDEO)

Finding a two headed snake is a rarity, but seeing it chomp down on a mouse is fantastic.

This Albino Honduran Milk Snake, named Medusa was purchased by the Venice Beach Freakshow for the small sum of $50,000.

Rigging Boat Electronics? Don’t Do This!

Many of us rig our own electronics, especially on relatively small, simple boats. And truth be told, there’s no great mystery when wiring up a fishfinder or a chartplotter. Epic Battle: Cobra Battles Python (VIDEO)

Its rare that you see a Cobra battle a Python on video, especially in the city limits.  In the case of this video, that is exactly what happened.

Students at a university in Singapore shot this video of a struggle between a King Cobra and a Python on the street in front of their school.
